At the Rinas welding school in Bagheria it is possible to follow TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding courses, also called GTWA (Gas Tungsten Art Weilding) welding according to AWS terminology.
This technique consists of electro-infusible tungsten arc welding, which takes place under the protection of inert gas with or without the use of filler metal.
GTWA welding dates back to World War II and comes from the aeronautical industry.
In fact, when it was necessary to replace overhead rivets with lighter and more resistant welds, GTWA welding was and still is one of the most widespread methods, and must be carried out strictly by specialized operators.
For this reason our school, directed by Filippo Centineo, is always careful to offer in-depth and complete training courses, both from a theoretical and practical point of view. All students and sector operators who have trained or retrained at our school are confident professionals, with solid skills that they can use in a constantly evolving field.
